09.19.11      Anjelia to Release "Believe" @ Stone Pony, 11.11.11
Anjelia Pelay's debut album will be released on the magical date of 11.11.11 at the world's most famous rock club, The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. More details coming. 

08.14.11      Travis Tooke Records 2 New Songs in Asbury Park
Former Sony/Epic recording artist Travis Tooke (For Squirrels, Subrosa) made magic last weekend with producer Jeff Plate. The release schedule for the new "single" is currently being planned. Travis' first solo album "Artichoke" was released by IPR in Jan. '08 and the release was featured in Billboard. 

07.20.11      New IPR Staff Additions
IPR is super excited to announce the following people are on board:

Arielle Castillo - from Miami, FL, Arielle is a national music writer (Spin, Billboard, Rolling Stone), long-time Music Editor for Village Voice publications' Miami New Times, and works with Media Relations. She will be working all publicity and press (and much more!) initially with Anjelia.

Kevin Carter - from Saint Augustine, has been with us a while, and has helped us promote shows and acts in Florida, including the Invisible Children project. A former Drift Magazine editor, Kevin will be working heavily with the upcoming Lettuce Olive (Travis Tooke) projects along with everything else IPR.

Carolynne Smith - Actually, IPR's unsung hero. She has been doing web, graphics, etc for IPR for many years. See her graphics business link on the home page.

Covering the Tom Petty song "Walls." This song will be included on her first release this fall.   

05.28.11      IPR iPhone App!
The IPR iPhone App is finished! We're just waiting for final approval from Apple, and then it will be available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. This will be the first place for new music, events, opportunities, and all things IPR.

02.27.11      Anjelia Pelay signs with IPR
IPR is excited to announce the signing of Anjelia Pelay, with her first CD expected to be released fall 2011. From Asbury Park, NJ, Anjelia is the first Jersey Shore artist to sign with IPR in 6 years. A singer, songwriter, actress, and multi-instrumentalist, Anjelia was born and raised in Toms River, N.J.  You may have seen her before 'in character', but her music will surprise you even more.Welcome aboard, Anj!

01.13.11      IPR, Penguin Radio Presenting Live NJ Concert Series
Dubbed "Live at the Strand Theater" IPR kicks off a new concert series broadcast LIVE over Penguin Radio on Feb. 5, featuring local breakout Anjelia Pelay, former multiple Asbury Music Award nominee Rachel Zamstein (NYC), and Ducarriganigan, feat. Aaron Dugan/Matisyahu and Amy Carrigan. More shows TBA; at Lakewood NJ's historic Strand Theater.

Samantha Lu's first two singles, "Where You Belong" and "Can't Hardly Wait" (The Replacements classic) are now available on iTunes for the first time.

02.28.10      IPR to Rock for Ocean County (NJ) Homeless
IPR has signed on with Georgian Court University to rock for Ocean County, NJ's homeless. We will be releasing details of a 4/27 benefit concert at GCU's "Casino" along with several shows LIVE @ Ocean County homeless camps.

01.16.10      Nick Launay
Nick Launay produced what we feel may have been the best release of 2009, "Its Blitz" by Brooklyn's Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Nick Launay also produced the two major-label albums featuring IPR's Travis Tooke ("Example" by For Squirrels, and "Never Bet the Devil Your Head" by Subrosa). New Travis Tooke/Lettuce Olive coming in 2010!

09.13.09      IPR/Invisible Children Showcase Announced in Saint Augustine

Among the artists confirmed to contribute tracks to the IPR/Invisible Children compilation are Chris Barron (Spin Doctors), Larry Kirwan, Black 47, IPR's Travis Tooke (For Squirrels, Subrosa), American Idol's Alaina Alexander, Aaron Dugan (Matisyahu), Ellen Foley (Meat Loaf, Solo, Night Court), and IPR artists Tina Vero and Samantha Lu. IPR recording artist Travis Tooke (For Squirrels, Subrosa) is back in the studio with his new band project, Lettuce Olive, beginning to lay tracks for their mid-late 2009 release. Expect this CD to rock a lot harder than the solo release "Artichoke."

09.28.08      Samantha Lu signs with IPR
IPR is excited to announce the signing of former Torque (CN) recording artist Samantha Lu. Born in Thailand, Lu currently makes Nashville, TN home, where she has been performing in some of the music capital’s best venues, and spending time in the studio finishing up her first IPR release, expected in early 2009.

06.01.08      IPR Showcase @ Rockwood Music Hall
IPR is happy to announce we've signed on to do regular showcases at Rockwood Music Hall in the east Village, NYC. If you've never been there, RMH is one of the best live music rooms in Manhattan (just ask Time Out New York or the Village Voice). Our first showcase will be highlighting our new artist, Tina Vero, on Wed. July 16. 9PM sharp. More showcases to be announced.

Rita has been interviewed by MTV News, VH1, Entertainment Weekly, and a slew of other media. The video is the hottest on the web, with more than 800,000 You Tube views in 5 days, and thousands of site and blog reviews/entries.

Travis Tooke's song "Acid Test" will be included on a CD compilation distributed to more than 12,000 participants and industry guests at the world's biggest Music Festival, South By Southwest in Austin, TX, March 2008.
